SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA--( / )--With the goal of helping people live healthier and happier, Herbalife Nutrition today launched Gene Start in South Korea, the first of its markets in the world to introduce an innovative healthcare service that analyzes one’s genetic make-up, dietary habits and lifestyles through the use of a portable genetic testing kit. The launch of Gene Start will empower Herbalife Nutrition to provide more comprehensive personalized nutrition solutions to meet the nutrition and wellness goals of today’s consumers.

In recent years, demand for personalized nutrition - where tailored nutrition solutions are given to individuals based on genetic factors, as well as other personal information - has been on the rise. Findings from the Herbalife Asia Pacific Balanced Nutrition Survey also revealed that over one-third of respondents in Asia Pacific would like to have access to expert advice for a personalised nutrition plan to enable adoption of positive nutrition habits.
